Grooming event at DU begins Sunday

SCCA three-day grooming event for university students will begin Sunday at the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.

Organised by Spartans Communication Club (SCC), the programme aims at increasing students’ ability in entrepreneurship, digital marketing and communication.

The event will see country’s a number of professionals, successful in their respective fields, conducting several sessions.

Stand-up comedian Naveed Mahbub, former CEO of IBM Bangladesh Limited, and G Sumdany Don, chief inspirational officer of Don Sumdany Facilitation and Consultancy, among others, will be conducting the sessions during the three-day event.

SCC president Naabila Riaj told Prothom Alo the event, titled ‘SCC Carnival-2017’, will continue from Sunday to Tuesday.

“SCC Carnival is an event where successful people from three different fields will be coming in and talking directly to the students,” she said.

“It’ll be an amazing opportunity for students to see and hear from them so close in person,” she added.
