“A Bangladesh of My Dreams” art competition held

About 150 children took part in an art competition at Tangail's Alokito Hridoy Primary School, organised by Voiceless Bangladeshi and Alokito Hridoy Foundation, marking National Children Day on Saturday.

The art completion was titled “A Bangladesh of My Dreams”, says a press release.    

Naima Alam, founder of the Voiceless Bangladeshi, said that they have currently completed more than 70 street art projects on different topics like education, child abuse, social inequality, and sexual harassment.

This art camp aimed at building up future artists of Bangladesh.

Voiceless Bangladeshi is a project of media studies and journalism department of University of Liberal Arts to train youth to undertake social advocacy through art.

Azwa Nayeem, chairperson of Alokito Hridoy Foundation, said the aim of the school is to enlighten a child’s mind, body and soul through a holistic education system.
