India and Pakistan are two super powers in world cricket, but the Colombo Test win puts Bangladesh ahead of the duo in one aspect -- the Tigers beat Sri Lanka who were defending a target of less than 200.
In 2009, the Lankans set Pakistan a target of 168 in the fourth innings of the Galle Test, but a Rangana Herath magic bundled the visitors on 117.
Similarly, in 2015, India had a target of 176 in Galle, but a seven-for for Herath led the hosts to a 63-run win.
However, a Tamim Iqbal-inspired Bangladesh clinched a four-wicket win on Sunday, as the Tigers did not have to face the same fate of their more illustrious Asian rivals.
