Double strike falters Sri Lanka

Online Desk | Update:

Bangladesh struck in the second over of both the fourth day’s first two sessions as Sri Lanka look a little unsettled despite their slender lead in the Colombo Test.

The hosts have 151 for 2 now, with Dimuth Karunaratne on 81 and Dinesh Chandimal just coming to the crease.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz gave Bangladesh the day’s first joy when he bowled Upul Tharanga in the first ball of the day’s second over.

Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis then added 86 in the second wicket before Mustafizur Rahman got the latter caught behind in the last ball of the second over after lunch.
