A daylong workshop on “Domestic, Regional and International Dimensions of the Rohingya Issue: Dealing with a Man-made Crisis” will be held in the city on Saturday.
Cosmos Foundation has arranged the workshop to highlight the issue and offer some solutions to the crisis, the foundation’s chairman Enayetullah Khan said.
It will be addressed by a panel of experts including CR Abrar of Dhaka University, major general (retd.) Muniruzzaman of the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies, Dilara Chowdhury of Jahangirnagar University and Shahedul Anam Khan of The Daily Star.
The workshop is scheduled to begin at 11am at the Hotel Amari, 47, Road # 41, Gulshan-2, said a press release.
The workshop will be chaired by Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, a former foreign affairs advisor to the caretaker government and principal research fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) in Singapore.
