A North Korean national was detained with massive amount of illegal liquors, beer and Viagra tablets from a restaurant in city's Banani area early Friday.
The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department, in association with Detective Branch of police, conducted a drive in Banani's Pyongyang Restaurant and detained Rayag Sung Haya.
The team recovered 94 cans of Foster's beer, 10 bottles of whisky, 210 Viagra tablets and other stimulation drugs from the scene.
Director general of the Customs Intelligence Investigation Department, Moinul Khan, told the Prothom Alo the restaurant sold alcohol illegally. A North Korean embassy official runs the restaurant.
An official of the embassy tried to disrupt their drive, he added.
He also said the foreign ministry will be informed about the matter and legal steps will be taken against the accused.
