Rajshahi University authorities on Tuesday caught a fake admission seeker as he allegedly cheated in the first year honours admission test under 2017-2018 academic sessions, reports UNB.
The detainee is Khalilur Rhaman, hailed from Kotwali upazila of Jessore district. He stood 16th from group-1 in the admission test under the law faculty.
"His hand writing at viva voce examination did not match with the copies of written test. He failed to solve single question correctly. On suspicion, we sent him to the proctor's office", said professor Abu Naser Mohammad Wahed, dean of the faculty.
RU proctor Mujibul Haque said that they handed over the student to the police after primary investigation.
The first year admission test was held at RU on 22-26 October while the test under law faculty held on 23 October.
